Debi Walker
My name is Debi Walker, and I am very proud to be the Chair of Governors here at Millwood Primary Special School. On becoming a governor, I wanted to use the skills and experience I have gained over twenty-five years as a Registered General Nurse and also from being a director of a not-for-profit limited company. I am passionate about children, young people and adults with additional needs and disabilities. I have two children and many moons ago my son attended Millwood school which I can honestly say were the foundations of his amazing years in his education. My main interests are leadership and management, teaching and learning, health and inclusion. I hope to use my experience to create the best learning opportunities for our children at Millwood.
Away from school I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and walking my dogs Max and Frankie.
